Please find someone to buy his Bonanza!!! Please!! my Pappy was the co-pilot.
Great piece of history. I've always been a aviation buff. The b-17, was the savior of bomber missions of WWII , with all the daylight raids they made, especially before we had escorts that could go all the way with them.
I also loved the P47's, P38's and then the P51's
One of the last B25 DoLittle raiders lived here in Camden, just died this year, his name was Bob Hite. He was a great Guy, and I'm honered to have known him.

Edit:: This Man is not dead, He just moved away, I saw his picture in todays news paper. He had moved to Tennenee.

OK, I am old and maybe a loser or maybe not. You can decide.
I am home with my wife, dog and 3 cats. I am drinking my favorite Whiskey, an Iowa brew called Templeton Rye on the rocks. I am tired of people and the stress of people and business. I won't be awake at midnight, but fast asleep with my dog at the foot of the bed. This is what makes me happy tonight so do what makes you happy bro. Yes we are all brothers in my opinion. Peace man!!
I had a great night... reading stuff on here... didn't get too drunk... just right to make me go to sleep on a happy note.

Happy New Years though...

Yikes!

for the Bob Hite.

I friend of my father passed away last year, He flew lancasters in the war. Did a second tour as a pathfinder. They met when they were both bush pilots in the north. He was an interisting man. An other of his friends, long gone , flew p-51"s over Europe, Called it the best Damn adventure of his life.

Screw, as the baby boomers get old, they have little left to stay happy with. When I am old, I would rather die in a plane crash than and old guy in my sleep. If he wants to fly, let him fly.

You should consider going for your private license and going up with him. Flying is so neat and will bring you closer together. Both my grandpa's, my great uncle, 2 of my uncles, and my dad are all pilots. I'm next in line!
