Went to the Auto show, and was NOT impressed
Well, I went there today. Looked around, and nothing really impressed me. The new F150 Supercrew was nice, so were all the fords. But everything else seemed so..so ugly. And there were so many people that you could barely see anything. They need about 20 more cars and about 100,000 less people.
i went
the pt cruiser was the best new thing there
cool looking car that starts at 16,700

I went to the show when it was in DC. I hate to say it was less than impressive here, too. I did enjoy a peek at the upcoming TBird. I thought the Explorer Sport Trac would have been a better display with some nice wheels and tires - rather than the ones from a base-line Ranger.

L.A. auto show.
That PT Cruiser was cool, it might give minivans a good name. As usual Chrysler has the most interesting prototypes.
The European cars looked the same as last year ... and the year before.
I liked the Charger prototype and the T-bird, although I hope they replace that cheap looking plastic grille. The Supercrew's short bed looks funny but I could get used to it, if I could afford it I'd buy it.
When are the Japanese going to stop trying to recreate the Fiat Spider?
And who the hell designed the new Impala? They took an awesome looking (and performing) car and made an ugly Malibu out of it.
