Post How do you enter the messageboards?

I have a bookmark for the main messageboard page. Does anyone start straight from the home page?

Fast46triton,

AOL may be like driving a Toyota pickup.....and I saw that "crack" about listening to "oldies" too and am headed there now to clarify this!

54regcab,

User friendly, but service wise, I hate em. Busy signals, etc.

Dunbarton,

Whatever do you mean?

User freindly or what you are used to?
Anybody using a normal ISP would not find AOL user friendly anymore than AOL users find normal ISPs user friendly.
I know ppl tha use AOL and I can't see how they can stand 4 pop-up windows every time you log on, not being able to have a full window for browsing, having to use thier browser, not being able to use "normal" programs and some sites not being AOL friendly.
Oh yeah also having to load 40megs or so of crap on your hard drive just to connect to the internet.
Normal ISPs aren't hard at all to configure and use once you know how.

I always start at the top page. It's an old habit. Used to be the site admins preferred it that way because of the way they track activity. It also was a way to show respect by using the site the way the web designers intended. Some site admins would regularly change their links, so if you came in from the "side entrance" as ATST does, the link would stop working and you'd have to delete the old bookmark and save a new one.

Regarding AOL. Don't knock it. I love it when certain friends tell me they're on AOL because I can't help them since I know very little about how AOL works.

I also know a few professionals who stick with AOL because they travel a lot and it's convenient to use AOL from all over the country.
