'99 Gateway 500 PIII w/13.5 Gig H/D, 128 Megs of SDRAM, kept my 17" Vivitron(Sony) monitor on this one and put the new one on my '97 Gateway 200 PPRO w/5.1 Gig H/D and 64 Megs of EDO ram. Then networked the two for gaming.

Exclamation

Has anyone else seen the specs on the new Apple G4 ? 2.94 times faster than the Pentium III 600 !!! The top model comes with a 27 gig hard drive, with a possible 105 gig. It can process up to 4 billion floating point operations per second. It is, so far, the fastest personal computer in history. I WISH I had one. What's sad is that by this time next year, it will probably only be average. It can be pricey, though. The cheapest model is around $1600, while the top model, is around $3500. Buying the best sure isn't cheap !!! Time to start checking the sofa cushions for change !!!
Take care,
-Chris

Get the Voodoo 3500, you get tv out with it. Mine came with the 3000 and I wish I had the 3500. Other than that there really isn't any difference in the two.
