Has anyone seen/ have this? It looks pretty cool. They were talking about it on the radio yesterday. I was thinking about getting one, but its pricey $149.

Frontgate is that over priced crap in the Airline magazines. I'm sure there is a flashlight that could be had much cheaper that performs just as well. 150 bones for a flashlight is crazy... LED or not.

This is the light, that doubles as a weapon, right ? (not just some LED flashlight guys ! )

I worked security for awhile, these were kinda a joke. A much better method, is buy yourself a 5-6 D-cell maglite (i prefer 6). Take the batteries, and wrap them in tin foil, so that they are TIGHT against the inside of the flashlight. This is so when you smash the light over someone's head, the light has less room to "give" or dent, and instead inflicts more "dent" into the person your swinging at. Its going to take a LOT of foil to make it solid, but far better self defense then some dinky little light.

Yes.....

X's 3 on the Pelican's. Pelican makes great stuff.... hard storage cases of all sizes too, and they stand behind their products.

I can say at night my Pelican does blind you. You can't see much in the dark after it's been flashed in your eyes. Theres a lot of red dots and flashes, but as far as functioning it takes a few moments to regain your sight.

I prefer this flashlight:

It works better for me than tin foil.

It has a Sure Fire LED with a touch pad on the forearm.

Pretty hard to walk into church carrying that. Kinda hard to work a security job carrying that. You got some kinda hip holster for that ? Carry it with you 24/7 ?

flash light works great. I don't work security anymore, and I have plenty of guns. I still like having the maglite in arms reach at all times. Got one in the Samurai, and one in the truck. Kinda hard to quickly lift your shotty froma concealed position, and aim and fire in close quarters.

No, if I were going to church or outside my home I'd have one of these on me since I have holsters for them:

And if I needed a light with me I'd probably take this one:

The shotgun is one of the bedroom guns for the wife.

I have a Surefire Z3 (I think) extra bright bulb on top of an already bright light. I've had it about 10 years. I'd buy another if I lost this one.

NICE set up you got there my friend. Got me a little jealous ! ha ha

You got your CW permit ? Need to get me mine, hence the flashlights ! Which one do you prefer ? Got an old 1911 .45, and thats it for my handguns.

And everyone's bedroom gotta have a shotty, otherwise it aint complete ! Got me a mossberg pistol grip. its nice, and the pistol grip is "cool", but man does it kill the wrist. Wish I had a nice folding stock for it. How much did yours run you ?

Honestly my favorite carry gun is the OD green Kel Tec Pf9. It's a 9 mm single stack 7+1. With the in the waistband holster it just disappears when I carry it. The belt loops on the holster allow you to tuck a shirt in over the gun so it's easy to carry in the summer time. When it's colder and I can wear a vest or coat I'll carry one of my glocks.

I do have my CC license. My wife does as well. She usually carries a Kel Tec P3at; .380. I really like the Kel Tecs. They are an American company based in Florida and have a life time warranty. It's hard to beat.
