Hmmm it was 4 here today with 20 MPH winds with a -17 wind chill and to think that I used to walk around in jeans, sweatshirt, and hat in that kind of weather. But I have to agree with dress for it and you will be fine.

I wish it was that cold down here near Houston!

I already miss being in Arlington, for the sole reason of the cold! I can stand it now that my heater in my truck is working again....lol.

We stand it because it's not a hurricane, tornado or earthquake. Seriously, if we get three days of 90+, hot and humid, everyone's whining, so don't think anyone's so tough. It was actually in the mid sixties today, and I have electricity which is more than I can say for many around here. It was 28 and windy on Saturday though, had to put a coolant tank in my daughter's car and change her oil, was wishing it was hot, you can only do so much with gloves on.

come live in the midwest, by late july its 90s everyday which may not sound too bad to you guys in texas, but fast-forward to winter. high is 12 degrees today, i woke up this morning and windchill was -11. current windchill is -2. its supposed to snow periodacally over the next couple of days.

this place is amazing and depressing at the same time.

and dont get me started on tornadoes, im lucky, there havent been any that i could see since 2003.

The fact that we don't have a choice makes it a lot easier to bear.
12 degrees here.
