He not only had to duck one but, two.

The man was pretty much on his own. I noticed after the second shoe there was a slight bob & weave in his shoulders as his eyes darted back and forth across the room.

He musta been thinking, "Dang this gonna be tough, everybody in this room has got footwear..."

Anyway, after watching the tape several times, I give him an 8.

Good point, I take a picture of the wrong hallway in the White House while the First Family is not even there and I get tackled and my camera destroyed by the Secret Service, but some guy can chuck a loafer at W and then laugh it off and go hit the Iraqui Chic-Fil-A and have a milkshake. Double standard, I tell you.

 

What amazes me is both throws from 20 feet were right on the money and Bush didn't even come close to getting hit.

It's as if he had been practicing those moves in front of a mirror for seven years.

I thought it was cool the way President Bush shrugged it off as no big deal, which was probably the best spin they could've put on it, but I'm sure after, the shoe-thrower was getting the beats put to him.
