Installing Front License Plate

So when I bought my 2004 F150 I decided to take the entire front license plate off to make it look "cleaner".

Well, now I want to re-install one. How the heck does it go on there?? I bought the frame from the dealership, however it just doesnt seem to have all the right things that I need to get it mounted. Are there more brackets I need to purchase?? How the heck do I get the frame back on the bumper?

Thanks.

If duct tape, superglue or band-aids cant solve your problem, your screwed!

Back on topic, do you "want" to put it back on or "need" to put it back on? Did you save the old bracket? That would've been the smart thing to do.

If it is the same as the '06 you just have to hook the top part on the bumper in the bottom opening and then shove the flat clips through the gap between the valance and the bumper and that should hold it in place. That is what I had to do to mine when I got a "fix-it" ticket for no front plate

I used to rip mine off pretty regularly when 4-wheeling, and let me tell you the best way to fix the front tag. Zip-tie that baby to the honeycomb grill on the front.
