Talking NAPA 500

Anyone going to the NAPA 500? I am leaving work in about 30 minutes to go watch practice and qualifying. I got pit passes and tickets - east turn, section 52, row 4.

Weather permitting, I will probably head down on saturday for ARCA and Happy Hour. I just hate the traffic on Sunday! Look for my truck (and window sticker)!

Steve, On sunday it took me 1 hour to get from Kennesaw to my parking space at the track. Going home was another story, total chaos getting out of the parking lot, almost 3.5 hours to get home. Definately worth it though. However I am getting tired of seeing Labonte win at Atlanta. I have been to 6 races there and he has won 3 of those.

Thumbs up

It was a great race, I thought, and a great end to the season for Blue Oval fans. I was happy to see Dale's Polish victory lap to cap his championship in memory of Alan Kulwickie. I haven't heard if Michael Waltrip is okay. I hope he is.

I think I'm going to go into withdrawl now - no more Winston Cup, no more CART and no more F1 until February at least. Aaaacckkkkk...

My second of the "new" F150s. Great trucks!

Unhappy

Shifter, Racing withdraws already... This morning I thought - I will have to check my race schedule and see where they are racing sunday. My cable company starts broadcasting Speedvision in december hopefully they will replay some races.

Yeah, now I'm stuck with only having the Phila. Eagles on Sunday afternnon TV. Like watching paint dry..... How would you like THAT predicament?

The next three months are the hardest time of the year for me. I use to work for Bill Elliott, and now work for Jim Gresham (IMCA & SCRA Sprints). I enjoy the time off for about a month, but then it starts to hurt. We will actually start working again in January, but that just seems too far away.

Take care,
-Chris
