Correction. The US alone has spent close to $500 BILLION dollars on just the war in Iraq over the last 4 years. Average that all out, and it comes to $342,465,753.42......PER DAY!!! (Give or take a nickel here or there).

You haven't made a point yet unless you are trying to prove us right about the 12 year old mentality of some posters.

You making a comment on "failure" is irony at it's best. Coming from the member who is "claiming" to be a 12 year old. The funny thing is nobody is buying it, now that's failure.

No they need to go bankrupt to get out from the UAW. Those bastards are milking them for 4.2 million a week in "Job Banks"...which for those who dont know what that is, it's basically people that are no longer needed and dont do anything but are capable of working but instead it's in there union contract that they can sit on there *** year round and still collect a pay check. And no I don't feel sorry for these people. There's plenty of jobs that get replaced and those none union people go out and get another job.
I'm surprised no one has started a bailout thread about the big 3 yet. Good call. I'm sorry, a "Bridge Loan" thread as Mr. Ron Gettlefinger and the big 3 CEO's like to call it.
I'm with SouthernScrew on this one all the way. Let them go Chapter 11 and get out from the Union stranglehold they're under.
Here's a question for everyone. When the big 3 get this "bridge loan" (which they will) and they find themselves in the exact same position 2 years from now, how many UAW workers do you think will be out looking for a new job between now and then, over the course of the next 2 years?
You would think that this will be an opportunity to start thinking about a different career or learn a new skill set. Sadly though, the majority of the UAW workers that still have jobs after all this will continue to work for the big 3 and find themselves in the same position of certainty when the money runs out again.

ummm, hi I guess?
Maybe they should just fire everyone and rehire them under a new "no unions" rule. It would be a hassle, but it would destroy the parasites.
