How do you get those stupic clips off.....
I need to get behind the grille of my truck to mount some lights. Above the grille is a piece of plastic I am trying to get off, but they have those stupid plastic clips holding it that looks like a philips headed screw, but it is not. How do I get the clip to release with out breaking some thing. I have tried spinning the screw head forever and it did not do any thing. I hope some one knows what I am talking about? I am going crazy.
Thank you
Nick

I had mine off and if I remember correctly there are eight fasteners. I was able to get five off by gently unscrewing with no downward pressure. I pried the other three off with the tip of a pocket knife. You have to pry up the inner screw head.
