How big of a school are you looking to go to? How much do you want to spend? I went to Tarleton State University, for 4 reasons. 15 semester hours cost me under 3 grand, and it is a degree from an A&M university. One of the other reason's is it is a small town and a small school, the freshman class I was in had something like 1500 in it. The last reason is the girl to guy ratio at the time I entered (04) was 12/1.

price is no limit. im paying almost 10k a semester at auburn. i kind of like smaller schools, but i also need a school with a good ENG dept. i have heard alot of good things about tech, have a couple friends there. i kind of would like a smaller school, but that won't be the deciding factor

jwool, you know a kid who drives a 05 KR 4x4 with the burnt orange color?

im going to A&M at college station mid jan to check it out and stay with a friend who goes there. might drive out to tech sometime over the semester, its just a long drive but i will look at it at some point.

birddog, tell me more about that school. 12:1 ratio, i like my odds

fx4 for life, i am living in spring, so im going to lonestar (tomball) for the spring semester. if you ever wanna go out to spring creek let me know, i should have my new rig ready for trails end of jan im hoping. 75 fj40 with a 350 chevy sb, SOA (about 6" of lift), i gotta a little bit of work to do on it before its trail ready tho

Lol that doesn't narrow it down man there's lots of KR's around here. Come check it out though our engineering school is really good. Are you going into mechanical, chemical, or petroleum?

Im up here at UTA, University of Texas - Arlington. It's a really nice school! But Arlington just isn't the kind of college town that Lubbock, College Station, and Austin are. But you are about a 20 min drive to Dallas and Fort Worth both ways, So you kind of get a two for one deal, IMO. Plus there is TMS in Denton (45 min) and TWS in Ennis (45 min).

Just get out of Auburn!!

She's enjoying it. She's a small town girl so she fits right in. Her boyfriend goes there too. They're good kids. Makes me feel old.
