On my rig, I need my engine to get power to the axles. I need an alternator to power up the batt. Thats about it ! ha ha Stupid basic, but I like it that way.

Whats the plans for the front ? You talking just tubing out the fenders ? Or you wana hack off the whole front ? And whats up with the up-coming engine cage ? any pics/ideas ?
for the front, i want to keep the fenders just like the gold ranger i posted.

on this gold ranger he also cut off the front half of the frame and bent the tube to form around the engine and everything. I want to do the same, on Ranger they had this large subframe piece that held the lower control arms on, the frame had no actual bend in it to clear anything, because they didnt have too, well now i have problems with frame clearances and widths.

here is an example of what i want to do.

Of course, as long as the differential you choose, is on the same side as the T-case output (driveshaft).

Going with an aftermarket t-case will give you better strength, more custom options, etc etc.

Yeah air shocks kinda depends on what you do. We do a lot of rock crawling and they have their advantages and disadvantages. When going up a steep hill the front end will unload terribly, and hitting a hill with speed and the front end unloading is scary as hell. Everyone around here have such down winches so they can adjust how much up travel the shocks have. Bad thing is you need a pretty beefy winch to take the beating of those shocks jumping up and down, but it has to be small. One of my buddies has already been through about 2 harbor freight atv winches and is constantly snapping winch line on it.

I think that exo cage would look fine especially the one you showed. Not much room inside that beast for a regular cage as it is.

I say you just slap an atlas under that beast and call it good.

I believe he used the SEM Landau Black Interior Paint. With a couple of thin coats of Duplicolor Adhesion Promoter for it to stick to...

I know someone that has a set of superduty axles for a good price. PM me for contact info if you are interested.

I would love to help you on your build but you are clear across the country!

that is what I ahve read as well. An Atlas or Stak case would be killer. Who knows maybe one of these days.
