I think its luck microsoft came out with a update in late april early may and it was suppose to catch all the counterfit copies, i had probaly 30 people coming in after that update needing a legal copy. All it does is tells you your copy may be counterfit and turns your desktop black.

Mine did do that, but then I pulled a key generator off of a torrent site and haven't had any trouble since. Another point for the tech pirates!

98 was cool but XP has been excellent when compared to the other (Vista, 7). I run XP, Vista, 7 and OS X.6.3 (if you want to be technical). I work in IT to I try my best to keep up plus I feel im one of the few that can work both platforms well.

I use Ubuntu Lucid Lynx 10.04 but have OSX Snow Leopard, XP Pro, Vista Ultimate, and 7 Ultimate. So far I like my Linux distro the most.

I genuinely like Vista, its not as bad as most make it out to be, just that they don't really know how to properly work it.

Question

I just a got a new laptop for graduating high school with windows 7 installed so far im liking it seems pretty close to vista but small stuff changed have a Hp desktop computer running xp and i like that too but can't get internet to work on it i went to update to internet explorer 7 cuz i was still using 6 and now the internet doesn't work at all tried using firefox, chrome safari and tried reinstalling IE 6 but still no internet any ideas of what to do
