I've been a Mopar man for over 40 years. This is my first FORD - man do I love it!
I still have 2 Chryslers - but they're not TRUCKS. For mere automobiles, I kinds like them, too.

Oh, I almost forgot... The stupidest thing I've ever done... I guess it was to marry my 1st wife. Did get some GREAT kids from her, though... I don't miss her.

I was hiking near the Appalachian Trail wearing my red backpack. I decided to take a short cut and crossed a cow pasture.

The Bull was working that day...

It wasn't that way at all, at least I didn't think so at the time. Afterwards, I stayed by the phone, ran to the mailbox everyday but, nothing...

Eventually it dawned on me that I had just been used.

Unhappy

Postmaster, I did just that stupid thing. Earlier this year I bought a new 99 Ram. I had a whole list of things that were wrong with it. Dodge just told me they were all normal imperfections. I started to fight with Dodge, but I did not get any where, so I threw in the towel and traded it in with less than 1000 miles on it for a F150. The day I came home with my new Ford, I felt like a huge wieght was lifted off my shoulders, but I do feel bad for the next person who is going to buy that piece of chit.

Raoul, didn't i see you in a Gary Lawson cartoon? the one with the cow wearing a red backback, standing by the mailbox with a frustrated look on your face.

did i get the only good dodge? my 1st year T300 with 110k will still:

take 5k in the bed
tow 20k
beat my superchipped lightning in the 1/4
make slow drivers in fast lane ,move over
drown out the loudest kid's radio,w/exhaust

maybe they made the first year issue, to prove a point. and when they started selling 3times more trucks than they were accustomed to, they went back to their old quality problems.

1. See my post on "Closest you've ever been to dieing" (p. 2 of General Discussion) - now THAT was stupid.

2. Marrying a fashion model from Toronto who was half of a pair of twins. Mine ran off with a CFL middle linebacker. The other one had the mint '58 Chev Belair coupe and was way more fun.

Black 2000 SC short-box XLT. 4.2 V-6, 5-speed, 3.55 Limited Slip. Side steps, CD, remote entry, factory box liner. My add-ons: Older Windstar (driver's side) wiper blade - the one with the air scoop, because I don't slow down when it rains; and snazzy Tweetie Bird floor mats.

My second of the "new" F150s. Great trucks!
