I took typing in High School because of Miss Lacox. She was 26 and georgeous. She always wore mini skirts and blouses that buttoned up the front. She always wore them unbuttoned 3 buttons. When you went up to her desk with a question, you stood behind her and leaned over her shoulder while she explained the answer. What a VIEW!. I had a terrible time in typing and was always going up and asking questions - what a poor student I was.
Out of High School I copied Morse Code in the Marines and now can type over 70wpm.

Touch typist here. Can type up to 150 wpm, but I'm the only one who knows what I typed. Seriously, I'm a lousy touch typist. 50 wpm max. Normally? Probably more like 30.

I did a lot better with my old IBM-PC keyboard from 1981. These new keyboards are pieces of junk.

Thumbs up

I took typing in grade 9 and 10, tested out of it in college, and thanks to the internet, type faster than ever now. Haven't been tested for years, but people are amazed how fast I type. Top row of numbers? I know 1, 5, 0, and 4 real well! 10 key? Nope, and don't want to learn...

I'm just amazed nowadays that I'd rather type than handwrite anything anymore...and to add another thing to this post? I rarely use spell check! So there :P

Hated English in highschool though, I had the old bitty prune-breasted witch...that explains why I never took more than the required Engish courses.

2 fingers (when I'm not picking my nose) - Lots and lots of typos. What the heck they don't pay me to type.

Andthensometoo, the 10-keypad is the numeric keypad towards the right side of your keyboard. It's the same as what you find on adding machines, cash registers, and ATMs.
