I would like to inform everyone of you,that Ford of Canada tabled its first contract offer to the Canadian Auto Workers (CAW). The company proposed a 3 year agreement cosisting of 1% per year raises, no pension improvements, and the worker pay 15% of medical and benefits!
This comming the day after the UAW tentatively agreed to 3% per year wage increases, signing bonuses and profit sharing with Chrysler, setting the pattern for Ford and GM.

Hope the workers don't get so mad that they start taking shortcuts and cheapen our trucks
