This is a tough league.
The relief pitcher is getting charged for runs scored before the phone in the bullpen even rings.

The market has 0 confidence in the future president. That's what my broker is telling me, he should know.

No it's pretty accurate.
I asked my broker what happened to all my money and he told me it was Obama what done it.
I said I was losing money before Obama won the primary and
he said he was my broker so he should know.

Raoul is right! The same goes for a lot of the stuff that has been pinned on W Bush.

Im FAR from an Obama supporter, but if you expected the stock market to jump significantly after Obama's victory, you're nuts. It's only been 2 weeks...the stock market and economy will take care of itself and recover over time.

Don't make me laugh. If you believe that, I got a bridge to nowhere I'll sell you. - Og

He must listen to Rush Limbaugh too, he's been pushing the market tanking on Obama since November 5th.

Does anyone know when the last time the market was this low? It was after five years of Reagonomics.

I think the market right now has very little to do with Obama. Him winning the election may not have helped, but that can't be pinned solely on him.

The market being down this badly brought two questions to mind.

1. What would be said right now if the market were soaring. Would it be said it's because of Obama or because of the stimulus package?

2. How long does Obama have to turn the economy around? He promised change; can he deliver?

Well, What do you expect when the world's most powerful Black man still lives in Government Funded Housing????
Anyway, Stocks are based on What a company PROJECTS it will do. Since Obama has said he will hurt business (Through taxing and taking more gov't control and restrictions), The projections are not high. The Businesses are not putting faith in Obama and rightfully so. His history as a lawyer and community organizer places him against corporations. Now because of this, the projections are low due to the sagging economy, lack of current leaders, and no faith in the future leader. Best to look into IRAs and Mutual Funds or CDs at a time like this.

Dude, get over it. This stuff wasn't "projected", it was "caused". Go back 3-4 years when investment banks and mortgage companies took advantage of your neighbors.

By the way, isn't the White House government funded, too? - Og

If it was soaring, it would be becuase B. Hussain Obama got elected, at least that is what everyone would think, but there is no way we can blame it on him before he takes office, which leads me to the second question. I would say that if the market has not rebounded ( I don't mean 14K, but a constant trend upward ) 6 months after he takes control then I say we can flame him.
