I will, gimme gimme, I wish I could get a diesel in a half-ton.
I don't think that you would be out of your mind to tow that with a half-ton, they wouldn't be rated to tow it if they couldn't do it safely enough.
Maybe in the old days, the 'half-ton' argument would have flown, but now these trucks are so far advanced that they are anything but actual "half-tons" anymore.

You know it is funny you posted this. I came out of a store the other day and I saw a older F-150 probably a late 80's truck and it looked so funny. It looked so small and there was nothing to it. But then I thought to myself, this truck was made for a working man, no frills, no thrills just a work truck. Now you see guys driving 50K trucks and they have never even seen a day of work and they are afraid to get them dirty. I have also heard alot of older guys in buisness say that they hate new half tons because they need a ladder to get in the bed of the truck. It is just so funny how times have changed in the truck industry.

i thought not too long ago about looking into imports (when everyone was going insane over the stock market, and "the clock was ticking" on american manufacturing), but in the end i came to the conclusion that if its not broke dont fix it...... i like the way tundras look, but i dont trust its reliability..... i hear the titan is built pretty solid, but the front end is hideous,.... so i stayed with the f150, the only other american make that catches my eye is one of those gmc sierra denali's, but as for the f150 so what if i have absolutely no notable features on it, i just took it as a sign that maybe im not supposed to have all that stuff for now anyway.....

Dude!! seriously do you think that with the above review and the way it is written i would take your word for anything??. Get real dude go back to school and read, spell and use paragraphs, spacing's etc.. WOW you better just stick to the BMX riding.

There is nothing wrong with a tundra, ford, chevy, dodge whatever it is simply a choice we all have. I cannot for the life of me think of anybody i know that tows 10,000 pounds ever. I would never do it with a 1/2 ton Pickup if i had too.

Yah there is something wrong with the tundra, Oh I'm sorry. Tundra, but you knew that cuz your so smart. They are what is helping kill our BIG3.

You must not have many friends cuz I got all kinds that tow that much. My little toybox is pushing 7k and it's only 21 foot with 3 quad. Lets see get a F250 for 99% driving with nothing in the back and 1% towing all my toys. Nah I don't need it. F150 that can tow anything?? yah that I need.
Dude, you need to get out more.

I hate it when people say "dude" all the time. Anyways, Tundra's are crap, cheap and damn expensive. They have 1 so-called truck that claims to tow 10000 lbs, Ford has truck(s) that can tow up to 24000 lbs, so take your pick based on realistic needs. My truck can tow god knows how much, safely? Who knows, but I think I'd rather attempt 10k with mine that those Toy piles. Sorry, just can't get use to the idea of having nothing but jap cars around me, I like cars/trucks too much to justify them as bieng more than cheap mundane yuppy mobiles. Keep the change cuz it's only my 2 cents.
