I'll say it again. For all of you who don't play your Wii's sell it to me.

 

My friends and their wifes/girlfriends love to come over and play with my Wii.

Seriously thought, it makes fun for when friends come over, we got Mario party but play the basic sports game a lot.

 

My 11 year old daughter wants a wii with the guitar thing and the american idol game and my wife saw the workout thing that goes with it and wants that... Of course the big gift this year .. My wife wants a new car .. She has an o4 cavalier with the ecotech motor in it and really wants a new Saturn .. She says she likes the guages in the middle of the dash... Well I guess the Mods on my truck will have to wait another 5 years or so.. LOL

 

Definitely, get a Wii. It is fun.

 

A Wii is more of a party/group console. There aren't alot of games out there for it that are fun by yourself.
but if you have friends over sometimes and they like to play games too then it can be alot of fun.

i have a Wii and a 360 and i dont play either one all that much but me and my brothers and sister have alot of fun on the Wii when we get together and play a game. me and my brother actually went to literally every single store that sold electronics looking for one when the Wii first came out lol, spent like 2 weeks trying to find one and finally got it at sams club haha
the 360 however has awesome graphics and alot of really sweet games if you're more into action games

like you said you're just looking for a console to play every once in awhile and have some fun with and the wii might be the trick for you...it just depends on what kind of games you like to play.

 

Wii is more of a family and friend get together gaming system! I have had it for a year and half now and still play it on occasion. I also have a PS3 that only gets used once every 3 months Just playing wii sports will entertain you for several hours. Dont forget to buy Guitar hero for it
