Was reading this article, figured I'd post it over here. Its a real great thing this guy is doing. WWI was one of the most horrific wars this world has seen, yet it rarely gets the coverage, or acknowledgement it deserves.

I just watched a show on Vimy Ridge with coverage of Rememberance day. The British and French tried to take the hill for 3 years with losses of 200,000 soldiers. Canada fought with a better plan and took the hill in 4 days with about 3500 lost. I wish I had taken more interest in history in school. They did a little digging recently around the hill and found munitions and bones just under the surface. Huge tunnel system the Germans used to come up behind attacking armies. Interesting...
