A FULL SIZE regular cab isnt a full size truck huh? So my regular cab is essentially equivilent to a supercab Ranger then? Or a Silverado regular cab to a crew cab S10.
Mini, Midsize, or fullsize is NOT determined by the number of doors it has on it, sorry, thats just rediculous.
But in your case, 500 hp in a non fullsize is even cooler.

700 in a Mustang Supersnake, yeah its impressive, it better have something like that, after all, its a performance car.
500 hp in a pickup, how is that not impressive? Of course, maybe its not off the wall compared to a lot of performance cars and such, but this isnt a performance car, its a pickup truck. How many trucks can you think of that you can drive off your dealer lot, brand spankin new, under warranty, with 500 HP?

Ill give you a couple seconds to think....

.....

Exactly. Its not just that its 500 HP, its WHAT that 500 HP is in. So your not impressed with a motorcycle with 200 HP, because, after all, its only 200 HP??? woopdy doo, the Mustang Superskank has 700, the motorcycle must be a POS, right?

I think the Tundra is a POS too, yeah the tailgate cracks if you sit on it, it has a sealed up no maintenence probably stock tranny, who knows about the rear end....thats besides the point of the engine though.

Regards....

Racing pickups? Sweet.

Toyota should put that engine into a sports car. The thing would fly.

200hp in a motorcycle. hayabusa has 175 stock. and that was 7 or 8 years ago. have you seen the 500hp hayabusa?

you just admitted the tundra is a 500hp POS. is 500hp any good if something is going to break? and you have to admit, its ugly as hell. if i wanted 500hp i could build a f150 (not that i would)

There is only 1 bike currently out that clames over 200HP its the Yamaha VMAX, and its not a crotch rocket.

I hate the Tundra with a passion, but come on they did something that Ford hasn't had the stones to do since 04. I give them props for that, but they should make a better truck to put that motor into.

Ok, bad example then, Im not into motorcycles so I havent the slightest idea how my HP they have, but, it still gives you the jist of what I am trying to say.

I was never saying it was a great truck that I want to go out to buy tomorrow, Im just saying at least someone FINALLY did something like this, just happened to be Toyota. Would it be sweeter if it was Ford or Chevy? Sure. But they didnt do it, Toyota did. Of course you can always build a 500 HP F150, but can you buy one and roll off the dealer lot with it?

What the hell are you talking about ???

Toyota Finally did what Ford, Dodge and Chevy have been doing ?

You could get a Roush S/c for your F150

You could get the viper motor for your Dodge truck

So.... where did Toyota actually break grounds here ? They are following, not doing anything the others aren't.
