Yep, that's the same BS the local news talk stations have been spewing the last two days...
I tune in, not because I care about their opinions any other day- but just so I could listen to the littany of whiny, BS excuses regarding why Obama was elected. There's always a reason why. And the reason always has to be one of a hidden reason.
Why is it so hard to believe he was simply the better candidate? Different ideas don't mean "wrong" until they are "proven wrong".
I know, it's hard when your guy loses. I was hurt when the Cowboys lost to the Redskins this year, but- I got over it. I didn't say the white-jersey wearing Cowboys felt guilty for beating the Redskins all those years in the past. Nor did I suggest they rolled over at Texas Stadium because of how Europeans treated the Indians. They simply lost because they were outplayed. The same reason McCain lost to Obama.
I know the election is bigger than a football game, but the disappointment is the same when your team (or candidate) loses.
McCain was out played on every down (debate) and on special teams (campaign), and there has never been a champion that didn't have the best defense. Everytime the republicans threw some BS accusation towards Obama, it was batted down, deflected, over-thrown, under-thrown, or intercepted. Nothing hit the target, and that made the republicans seem desperate. Then, they showed their class by booing McCain at his own rallies.
A very acidic crowd of sore losers.
But, this is a first. In my 39 years on this earth, this is the first time I've heard/read so many people say being black was an advantage. With that in mind, this might be a good time for me to go for that big promotion at work. Perhaps being black (I'm even darker than Obama) will help me become Director or VP!
BMW, here I come!!!
I guess there's a first time for everything...
Thanks for the article... I'm enjoying listening to the same crap from Mark Davis, Rush Limbaugh, et al for the last two days.

heres the problem i have with obama and the media. First thing i see when i got home from work at midnight was a small link on msn about how this is history in the making because he's black...
ok fine, null and void this election, we need different idiots to choose from cause the media finally admitted they put the black man on their shoulder because its "history"
OH wait, thats it! they needed something new to put in the black history month.

obama only was elected because of the media. screw making history, it would have happened when the time is right, not when the media thought the time was right.
only? no. who could tell what would have happen if the media didnt like him nearly as much? would it have been hillary instead?
that would have been history too.
oh hell go find a black female politician, that woulda been 2 birds in one stone.

Sweet Fancy Moses of course not!
But they sure helped..
definately lost a little respect for him these past 2 days. i thought he was a member of the party of unity.
Don't go away mad...

Do we have to agree on everything to "respect" each other's opinion?
I wasn't mad with you guys when Bush won, twice...
Can't we all just get along?
Gotta disagree---"only elected because of the media" Come on, there were other factors,as well. Why did Ohio, Pa. Iowa, Indiana, and Virginia turn from Red to Blue? That's an inuslt to the Red voters who voted for Bush twice (at least) (and perhaps even Reagan) Why did the turn away from the party---saying "THE MEDIA" is much too simplistic.

Thank God for high population densities, and electoral votes in places where education still means something, such as Massachusetts, Illinois, Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, California, Florida, etc... Were it not for them, ignorance, divisiveness, and hate would have won the day, again...
