Bye Bye Ron Prince!!!

Welp, it looks like KSU Football Coach Ron Prince wont be coming back next year. It's about time too. Our opponents have scored a total 220 points against us in the past five games. That makes KSU look like a highschool, even though we play in the hardest confrence in college football.

Anyone else besides me excited? All you Longhorn fans should be.

UT (university of tennessee vols) head coach phillip fulmer was rumored to be getting fired after this season was up for sucking so much..... so he resigned a few days ago but is still gonna finish out the year, he seems to think that just because he built a legend in peyton manning that that should give him a lifetime contract...

I knew you'd be the first to post.

So I guess the question now is who to hire as head coach? A lot of KSU students were talking about bringing Snyder back, but they're obviously not that bright since his last two seasons were horrible. The man who I want to see on the sideline is Brent Venables (OU defensive coordinator). Born and raised in Salina. Played at KSU. Was a coach under snyder. Knows about the once dominant KSU defense. YES PLEASE!!!

On a side note, I hate KU fans.......
After that game, Kansas fans at Memorial Stadium in Lawrence were chanting "Save Ron Prince" in the wake of the Jayhawks' third consecutive victory over their cross-state rivals.
Just about knocked out the guy behind me at the game poking me and yelling this in my ear.

Given the opportunity I'd cast a vote for Gary Patterson. He's done VERY well at TCU considering it's associated with a BCS conference. But that is probably a pipe dream, he'd be a fool to leave TCU at this point. But with enough $$, who knows.

I'd like to see BV in there as well. And for the love of all that is holy, Krause and Wefald do NOT bring on Snyder even on a temporary basis. Respect the hell out of that man, but nobody (future coach, recruits) would take us serious again after the circus that would entail.

Meanwhile, here in KC, Len Dawson made a statement that they way things are playing out, they may already have the replacement in line. Highly doubt it, but there might be some truth to that. What just three months ago Prince signed a 5 year contract? You would think if Krause wasn't in contact with someone about the position, we wouldn't be buying Prince out with 3 weeks left in the season.

If that is the case, this really sucks because what prominent and mildy successful coach in his right mind has already taken a job with KSU? Gary P. or Brent V. is not walking through that door.

Thanks Wefald, you left the program just like you found it!

What a freakin' joke. Now I'm just pissed off, since this happened I'm reminded of how Wefald was begging Huggins to stay and the knee-jerk-let's-keep-Beasley promotion of Frank Martin. Don't even get me started.
