Thank God! The election will be over today..

Then again, we could have to deal with them settling the results in the courts. Who knows?

If the phone rang between 4-78 we didn't answer it---let the answering machne pick it up...We told our friends that if they wanted to get ahold of us, call us on the cells...we got "personal" calls from both Barack and John themselves!

:o Can't say I disagree with on this one.

The worse part of the election process, regardless of who's running or who wins, is for the last 2 years having to deal with the paid advertisements from every candidate running for whatever position. This sickening part is in 2 years, the propaganda machines will once again be fired up and we'll start this all over again.

I think they should limit paid advertisements to 6-8 months before the actual election day. I'm sick of all the "......and I approve this message." - messages. If your favorite newspaper, news channel or talking head wants to cover all this, fine but otherwise, get off the damn air with all this crap.

I am tired of hearing everyone argue about who they are voting for, and seeing nothing but political coverage on the news. Thank God it will all be over soon

Here's to hoping that McCain pulls it out. Lord knows that now I'm done with grad school, and will have an excellent salary combined with my wife, in about 2 years, that damned $200k will be reached quick. Then again, I can see Osama lowering it to $150k from the beginning. Seeing as how the "families making below" went from $300k to $250k to $200k, who knows where his dumbass will stop.

Hope you liberals will be happy with your selection of a socialist leader. Good job dolts!

I'm an American buddy. This is my country. I shouldn't have to leave just because I didn't vote a Socialist into office.

FYI, it's not just your country, it's not always about you . I, like yourself, am proudly an American, been serving my country for almost 5 years, deployed multiple times to multiple countries and you don't see me making absurd uneducated comments (though you are far from the only one). You honestly think Obama is going to turn this country into a socialist nation ? To be honest, I don't agree or side with either of the candidates, though I have a great amount of respect for McCain, but I'd have to say socialism is a far stretch of where Obama would take this country. Research, research and some more research. Don't always buy the bullshi* that's shoved down you're throat . In the end, I believe in my country, even in the dark times and am willing to fight for everything we have, regardless if we have a leader I agree with or not

Wow, it's not just my country? Gee, I thought it was.

Thank you for your service to our nation, for the sacrifices you've made.

I just don't see how others can't see the path that will be taken should this man be our President. Couple him with an eager Democratic Congress, and lots of things you've never imagined could be passed.

As of right now, at 9:30 PM EST, you, sir, are in the minority. The country is speaking as to what direction in wants to go. I Feel that if McCain loses, part of the blame has to go to the guy named Bush---and enough of the people that voted RED in earlier elections have changed their viewpoints. What brought this about?

You may not like it---and that is certainly your right to disagree---but I guess if the projections hold up---(which they may not) the shoe is on the other foot now, and you get the opportunity to see how we have felt for, say, eight years.
