2. Would you happen to know if Budds Creek motorcross is opened to the public for riding or do I have to be a member or in a club? Thanks

man i miss my bike, had an '97 KX250. Havnt rode since about '02 or so. I'd love to get back in it just dont have any where to keep a bike at the time. Never raced just rode the local tracks for fun...besides I wasnt that good. Just good enugh to get around the track and have fun while doing it.
we dont race but me and my son ride MX every weekend.
i got my son a cheap bike last christmas, a ttr125 by April and i am picking up a crf150r today, hopefully that should hold him a while.
i quit riding when i was 23, started agian this year when i was 41. i truely forgot how much fun it is.

tracks are fun, but i was always a hairscramble racer if/when i did race. i was getting pretty fast when i moved, and i hate the trails in texas so i kind of quit riding trails and moved onto tracks but never realy enjoyed that to much.
I have raced since I was 5, and my daughter used to ride. She plays soccer so does not have alot of time for it, but she still has a couple bikes. She will be back on them once soccer season is over.
I dont have the Yamaha anymore. I have an '07 CRF250R

Here is my Daughter on her Pro Sr.

My wife has an '07 CRF150rb. I dont have any pics on this computer though.

stx4mx, those little crf150r's are quick! i was startin a hairscramble with one next to me, it was on my back wheel the whole way down before the first turn, then he wrecked so i didnt get to see much more of the bike and how well it performed. i was shocked on the performance that is coming out of that little motor

Dude, they fricken scream!!!!!!!
My wife did not like using the clutch, so I put a rekluse pro auto clutch in it. The one that still uses the clutch, so you can slip it through the turns.
I love riding her bike almost as much and my 250r. It is a blast, and just try to keep the front wheel down. OMFG! I can put it in 2nd, twist and go, and ride a wheelie as long as I want, shifting the whole way, and I weigh 175lbs.
I can only imagine what I would have been able to do with this thing if they had them back when I racing mini's and only weighed 100lbs.

i heard once you use a rekluse you wont ever ride a bike with out one. well i went to utah this summer and the guy who i rented the bike from (ktm 525 bored to 540, front end off 04 ktm teams race bike) and i requested him to take off the rekluse cuz i can't afford one!

LOL, I will always be a clutch guy. It makes for a fun play bike, but I would not want one on a race bike.
Even with the rekluse, I was still clutching it like crazy. I grew up racing those 2 strokes. Always had a finger on the clutch. A habbit I will never grow out of.
I grew up in Upstate NY. I raced alot at Broome Tioga, and Unadilla. Talk about hills. Plus would run hair scrambles to help work on reaction times. Those trees jump out at ya!

Ouch, that looks painful.
You have had more luck then I. It started when I was 12 with a broken ankle, and just spiralled from there.
I have broken my collar bone, both ankles, both wrists, blew out both knees, and apparently I broke a vertabrae in my neck, but did not find out until years later after a car accident.
But, I will never quit. When I was a kid, there was a guy racing who was 81 years old. Ran the vintage woods class. Never went fast, but never missed a race. He was a cool guy.
