My laptop which is about 14 months old (Dell Inspiron 1520) tells me that my battery's useful life is about over. Will my laptop continue to run when its plugged in or die altogether?

 

my dads has had that probly on his dell for the past year. laptops only about 16 months old. long as its plugged in it should be fine. and it will work without being plugged in just not too long. maybe 30-45 minutes for my dads.

 

My Dell 1705 works plugged in with no battery.

 

Yes, it will be fine. Mine tells me that as well.
