Cold weather is depressing
So it is 44 degrees out it gets dark by 7 soon it will be dark by 5. I like to be outside but it is kinda hard to ride a bike in the dark. Yeah basically winter is just really depressing for me and fall isn't much better.
i definitely agree. when I lived in MA and Maine, i liked when it was coming because i snowboard, but, come february, i would be so damn sick of it.
So sick of it that I now live just outside of LA! snowboarding is still only a 2 hour drive away tho!

I personally love fall, awesome season.
Winter sucks, all though i enjoy the occasional giant snow storm. Just not when it happens every other day like it did here last year. Just gotta make the best of it or move to a warmer climate if it bothers you that much..

I wish moving was an option but looking at the bright side of things here in michigan we don't have many posionous animals to worry about there are no earthquakes, hurricanes, and very few tornadoes. That and the economy has me stuck here I am in a position where I am struggling to break even because my hours got cut at my job.

I'd never want to leave my state, despite the nasty winters we can have, i still love it here.
That sucks about your job man, having hours cut and all. I wish you the best of luck...

Deskinsd - You are definately in the wrong state if you dislike winter and fall. Sorry to hear about your job also buddy, I hope things pick up for you. It's definately rough going for a lot of people here in MI.
I love fall and winter though, especially in MI. I do hate the first couple of snowfalls though strictly because every idiot who's lived in this state their entire life always forgets how to drive when the first snowfall hits. They either end up in the ditch or go about 30 MPH on the highways. I never understood that, but am constantly reminded of it every year.
Bring on the snow.

Well down here in Houston I would love to get some good cold weather. The coldest it's been the past couple years is right around freezing and thats only for a day then its back up to low's in the 50's and highs in the 60's. I hate this F-in city. Been here all my life and wish I had the funds to up and move.
That's out on Lake Simcoe.BTW, that tent/ice shelter, has heat in it.
the ice must be pretty thick to support a truckoh and the weather is always nice in southeastern Ga....although we don't know what snow is
most i have ever seen in my life was years ago and it wasn't but about two or three inches
One day I'll have a few ATV's.
If I won the lottery I'd get a few snowmachines too.
When that pic was taken, the ice was 15-20 inches thick, depending on where you were. You could park a house on that.
Here's a pic of the ice that I took on that same trip.
get nice and cozy and warm then BAM!!! the ice melts
