Thanks for no NWS link! Those ads on that site are not to seen around others!

That said, I think we're seeing a discoloration of the guts of the deer due to the cops lights being on. And, the deer wasn't that big, so the entire front of the car hit the deer in the body, not the legs, so instant pulverization occurred.

There is no way that was a normal cop car. It had to have been a truck with a brush guard otherwise it would have done a LOT of damage.

Not true! All our FORD 2008 CVPI in our fleet, even our Expeditions come through with a Police Spec G0-RHINO front grill guard ie. Crash Guard as
mandated by OSHA regulations. They are quite solid in design, & really protect the front of the cruiser from an event such as this one!.....
