Privacy Fence build tips?????
Treated is going to be just fine and will last much longer than you need it too. Cedar is generally for the personal preference and the pocket book.
Technically, cedar will always outlast treated...if maintained.
At the price you got, I wouldnt think twice about and get the treated. The twisting and bowing won't be all that bad (it will happen though) once the fence is up due to the fact that pressure of the complete fence will help them dry out much more straight than if they were just laying out at home depot.
Having put in a few of each, i would still probably go with treated and its about half price.

Additionally
If maintained cedar will outlast treated lumber material hands down however, since you are moving treated would be the most economical decision for you. If you dog eared the actual fence planks and stained once the green has left (about 1 year) they can actually look pretty good.
Use crushed rock to set them as opposed to cement. They will rot quicker with cement at ground level as water cannot drain as well. Much worse in freezing climates. If the pressure treated is put up quickly after purchase it will warp less. Don't buy it and let it sit for a month before install.
Well I finished this a while ago but never got any pics up.
I went with treated.
Used concrete to set the posts but didn't completely fill the hole. I have some dirt above the concrete so grass will grow around the posts and also so it won't pool water at the base of the posts.
I also have a 12' gate so I can pull the truck or whatever I need to into the yard whenever I need to.
Thanks for the tips!!! And sorry for the crappy pics.

It's gonna see a lot more now that the privacy fence is up!

Im not sure if this will help much, but I just stained my privacy fence and man was it a pain. I washed all the gray off the Cedar then hand brushed the stain on. My back fence is 150' x 80', so it took a while. Now if it were me i would consider staining this fence maybe while everything is apart??? Im sure someone can steer you the right direction, but it seems like that would be easier then afterwards. I live in MO, so my fence was gray after like maybe 2 years (cedar with treated posts).
I work in GV Big Smokey!
The fence is already up. You know what works good it to get a paint gun and spray it on then have someone follow you up with a brush and brush it in.
That's how I painted my garage.

Thanks Raoul,
Prolly can't see but I have a cable with turnbuckle going from the top hinge side of the door to the outside bottom that I can tighten to pull it up.
On my smaller doors for side walks I have two cables in an X pattern that I can tighten to prevent sagging. Worring great so far.
I like cables better than wood X's just for the simple fact that they are lighter and they can be adjusted over time.
