In the market for digital a SLR?

Here are the 3 heavy hitters showing up soon, all have full frame FX sensors:

I like the Canon for its HD video capability, and that its a big improvement to an already great camera (original 5D). I'm going to jettison what's left of my Nikon gear for one.

The Sony is extremely intriguing though, with its high megapixel count, and low price point. All 3 cameras come in under $3000.

I'd take the Canon, with Sony a close second. What other options can you get for lenses? I have a 18-55mm on mine and its okay for general shooting but sometimes I wish I had a 300 or larger

Canon and Nikon have very extensive lens lines, and since Sony acquired Konica Minolta, they have a lot of choices, with more on the way. Of course, with a few choice lenses one can easily exceed the cost of the body. But then photography was never a cheap hobby.
