Well I kind of know what your going through I just happen to get lucky at the right time. Back in January of this year the company I was working for decided to close down the repair operations side in Nashville leaving just the sales part in Nashville and move the repair side out to Phoenix AZ. I had 2 choices look for something in Nashville or move out west. I just happen to get lucky enough to get a job in Nashville with in a month of the anouncemnt of the closing, but 2 months before it was completely closed as they were doing a phase out plan of action. There are still some people I worked with that are still looking as then been laid off since April of this year. There are some days I wish I would have moved out west as the job I took to many of the people there are too negative plus I just don't like the company, but it is one that does well in a down economy so I'll stay for now and hope to find something I like better soon.

No job is secure nowadays, I've been fairly lucky working for one company 17 yrs. and the one I've been at almost 20 yrs. Even sold car's and drove truck's to keep the money coming in between these two job's. My biggest joy is both me and Maw Maw working all these year's and were able to put our two daughters through college. Sometimes you get knocked down in life but you have to get up and resume the fight!

i've got a few options...right now one is to start doing f150 ONLY stuff on the side.. lifts, etc.

also have another company here in abq that does nothing but Jeeps wanting me to come work with them...

and then i got a call last night about a job in kansas making $22 an hour doing simple work (at least to me but it's as physical as you can get)

YOu know people are losing jobs everyday, and there are people with enough nerve to say the leading indicaters are good.
Sorry for the loss of your job. We may all join you soon.
