i was looking online and found a 2005 fx4 f-150 for sale i liked the truck very much so i called and emailed the seller he did not answer my phone call but did answer the e mail. he said the truck was in great condition but the only problem was he had bought it in america and got it shipped to portugal were he now lives he said he would keep it but he cant get it certified over there or something where he cant legaly drive it. he told me that if i was interested in the truck he would ship it to me but id would have to send him $1000 for shipping costs an then he would send the truck. does this sound like a scam because it sounds ligitimate to me plus he sent me a vin # and also is there a way i could see the car facts without having to pay 30 and then wait 2 days for it to be mailed

Yea, there are plenty of cheap trucks in great condition that you can buy right here in the US of A. I don't think it would be worth the risk.

 

i agree with the others.... keep looking around.... im pretty sure you could find a twin truck right here.....not worth the potential of a scam !!!

 

That is a scam!! Do not do it! You will loose your $1000 and no one will be able to get it back for you. I deal with crap like this at least once a month. Local, state or federal law enforcement will not be able to help you and the law enforcement in other countries won't help you because they could care less since you are not one of their citizens.

 

Just send me a $1000 and consider it a gift instead of getting the shaft. Then I can get new wheels and at least someone will be happy!
