But Biden has been known to stick his foot in his mouth.
Contradict yourself much? In the same paragraph, no less. Well, at least you are half right...

BTW, the person in this presidential campaign that most needs the 'protection of the teleprompter' is Barrack Obama.

As for the Newsweek article in the first post, So Palin is not making herself available for a bunch of 'gotcha' questions from reporters that are in the tank for Obama. I think the American voters will forgive her just fine, especially as they get to know her during the debates.

I LOVE all the under-estimating of Palin by the left. IMO, she is going to wipe the floor with the old blowhard/Washington insider Biden.

This thing cannot be allowed to go to the scorecards, there is too much at stake.

I'm putting everything on Biden.
She goes down in the Fifth.
The Vice President debates will be a sham.
Mostly talking points with no opportunity to rebut what the other says.

The word Debate shouldn't even be use to describe this media event.

Tough woman

She is a tough cookie who can take the boys in Washington by their pebbles...

If you watched that interview and still feel the same way, you might be able to see Russia from your kitchen window. - Og

Jeezus Khrist, dude. He's a "Washington insider" and she's a sportscaster. - Og

Funny, Og, I was just about to post that video. Watch both of them, for some reason they seem to be edited differently. Some of the same questions appear in both and some in only one or the other.

To me the ending of the first one is priceless where, when pressed to give Katie examples of McCain doing anything concrete about reforms in the financial sector, she said she would have to try and find some and get back to her. This after a long passage about how the Maverick had been behind reform for, I suppose, all of his 20 plus years in the Senate.

Understand, this is a non-partisan post, it could have happened to any one of them. I think this also supports an earlier post on another thread I made about the handlers trying their best to keep all four candidates away from interviews.

Cruel as it may sound, my first thought after watching both videos is that this was like a parody of the Saturday Night Live skit from a couple of weeks ago which itself was supposed to be a parody of earlier interviews with Gov. Palin and Sen Clinton.

BTW, I thought Katie handled herself pretty well. I always enjoyed her on the Today show but she has been struggling in the new time slot.

Bill

People overseas aren't even taking this woman seriously. They're trying to do her right in front of the cameras. Jeez. - Og
