It's simply. I trade currency and saw this coming. With concern about the 700 billion for the Banks, it caused the dollar to lose a lot of value in todays trading.

Since Oil is pegged on the US dollar, it caused the price of oil to skyrocket.

We love this country just as much as you do. It's the a-holes in power that kills American moral. Call your congressman. - Og

Every time oil jumps over 100 bucks all of you run around like chicken little... The sky is falling! It's all over now!! It will never go back below 100 bucks.

Come on people, oil has been higher. It will go down again. We don't live in a third world country. Get over yourselves and quit over reacting.

401Ks will go up and they will go down. That is the nature of the beast. If you think the market will always have gains and always make you the % you want then you shouldn't invest in the market. Take your money and put it under your mattress. Rememer the stock market crash? Remember the IT bust and Enron? It got better after that... it will get better again.

So what you're really implying is if McCain is elected we are going into another Great Depression? A time when noone could find a job, over 50% of people went in forclosure, and a time when you prayed for a potato to feed your family. Seriously?
