I have nothing against political threads. Or religious threads for that matter. I even read some of them myself. Everyone has a right to talk about what they want in a GD forum. It just gets tiring to come to GD and see MANY threads with Obama or McCain or Biden or Palin in the title. And it's the same arguments over and over again.
..besides; complaints threads like these are actually wayyyy more interesting to read IMO, so well done!

and if you spend your every waking moment thinking of nothing else you are a fool or needing a life. of course i do research on the candidates, of course i enjoy my right to vote, even fought for it, and currently have a son fighting for it.
but the simple fact remains these two men are identical. they are politicians willing to lie to your face, stroke your pole for a dollar or a vote, and completely inaffective at single handedly doing anything. They may tout their wares to the masses as look what I've done but the simple fact is nothing gets done with out a lot of people voting on an issue which will undoubtedly change many times before being approved. Lots of money will change hands and lots of speeches will be made.
in the end if you're not on welfare or a large corporation, life goes on and you hope to keep your job no matter who wins.
