Hey Raoul... there were two goats standing on my street yesterday morning when I left to play golf. They wouldn't happen to be yours would they? They're roaming around in my backyard right now. My weimerainer hates them, but my Jack Russell is having fun chasing them in circles.

You can't be as worthless as everyone has been saying! You play golf and have two of the great dog breeds!

I do have some redeeming qualities... most around here tend to ignore them!

I did have some canvassing your neighborhood.
If you found Obama literature on your porch when you got back from golf then they were mine.

If they turn up again, just lift up their tail and look for the McCain/Palin sticker.

The stickers must be laying in a pile of poop somewhere. They did still have on their flag pins though!

I guess I'll concede on this one. Take it and run, I'm pretty sure it's a first on here. Come get your goats, but I'm keeping the flag pins.

No one has ever seen me post in a sports thread, I simply choose not to look at them. To me it is a simple concept, If I'm not interested I don't go there.
And then there's this train of thought as well, which I agree with.
It's just that there are so many political threads and having a sub forum for this topic may actually warrant having another forum, just to help clear up some clutter in the GD forum.

The political sub forums (which are attached to the GD type forums) I've seen on other large boards seem to be successful in doing what they were intended to.

That's just my opinion, but I guess if my opinion mattered, someone would have asked for it

I dislike all the threads also but I also know that other people have a right to post and discuss what they like so it doesnt bother me.

The difference between McCain and Obama are extremely stark. They are night and day... Please explore the candidates and their positions somewhere to make an educated vote for President.
and if you spend your every waking moment thinking of nothing else you are a fool or needing a life. of course i do research on the candidates, of course i enjoy my right to vote, even fought for it, and currently have a son fighting for it.
but the simple fact remains these two men are identical. they are politicians willing to lie to your face, stroke your pole for a dollar or a vote, and completely inaffective at single handedly doing anything. They may tout their wares to the masses as look what I've done but the simple fact is nothing gets done with out a lot of people voting on an issue which will undoubtedly change many times before being approved. Lots of money will change hands and lots of speeches will be made.
in the end if you're not on welfare or a large corporation, life goes on and you hope to keep your job no matter who wins.

If you don't like political threads, don't click on them and read. Spark plug threads really annoy me, so I don't read them.

Inquiring minds want to know!

I do know I laugh my *** off everytime I see the refrigerator on the highway picture, and that happened before I joined the forum.
As a matter of fact , howa bout someone telling me what happened there?

No one's holding you at gunpoint, forcing you to read a political thread.

I have nothing against political threads. Or religious threads for that matter. I even read some of them myself. Everyone has a right to talk about what they want in a GD forum. It just gets tiring to come to GD and see MANY threads with Obama or McCain or Biden or Palin in the title. And it's the same arguments over and over again.
