Trust me, after one run, and one good hit from Big Ray, any running back will have second thoughts before hitting any hole against USC. he is a force that constantly deserves attention from every member of the offense. The guy is a real head hunter.

USC hasn't seen a real offense ? No, not yet. In the Pac-10 ? Probably not. Does that take away from how good they are ??? HELL NO. They are serving up complete domination, not even breaking a sweat.

If we can find a team worthy enough of a few beads of sweat, so be it !

But how can you say your D is "dominating" if the offense that's playing against it is awful, or, at best, mediocre?

With that logic of the D being "completely dominate," we should just crown you National Champions now, no? Also, if that O was to play a more physical D, I suspect that it wouldn't be as successful. Sanchez a good QB? No way, José (pun intended)!

First of all, that was a highly touted, experienced defense we came up against, with highly honored, experienced linebackers. The knock on USC has been that they can't handle running QBs (por ejemplo Vince Young and Dennis Dixon) not that they can't handle a good rush and pass attack. OSU tried to exploit that weakness by sending in Pryor, but USC was ready. No one was calling OSU's offense weak after the first week, but when USC shuts them down, then they are weak. you are assuming what you are setting out to prove.

The great thing about the USC offense is that there are so many weapons, its hard for a Defensive Coordinator to pick a weakness. Shut down our finesse back (Gable and Mcknight) and we'll throw in our bruisers (Bradford and Johnson). Take your pick of wide receivers to shut down, and look what happens, we slip the ball into the endzone with a tight end or a streaking fullback that runs like a running back and catches like a receiver. you're right Jditta, I'd hope that USC lost early too so I wouldn't have to face 'em in a title game

LSU isn't near what they were last year. Defense is still very good, but the QB situation is our downfall. I'd prefer to play USC if I were lsu, better than a scrub from the Big Ten. And if USC loses to Stanford again looks like they'll be in another Rose Bowl.

I'd be willing to bet the Farm they don't lose to Stanford ever, ever again. That was simply embarassing.

Well said 2low !

They will lose to someone, I guarantee it. they are good but they aren't going undefeated(my sole opinion, I haven't seen their schedule)

there is a chance:

But I agree, going undefeated is damn hard. I can see it happening this year though.

Seriously, Jditta, ND over USC? From my experience with their fans, they are pompous and unknowledgeable about any football but Irish football. America's team my @$$ . I root for USC and any team playing fUCLA and ND .

Looks doable

Guess like all we can do is take the best the SEC has to offer in the title game.
Your forgetting the physical toll your team would take, plus away games are WAY harder in the SEC Im not saying USC would suck but I bet they wouldn't be NEAR as dominant

You think Auburn, Tennessee, Georgia would be easy games, you must know something that no other sports player, coach, analyst, or fan knows or smoke some fine cheeba You seem like a intelligent football fan so i'm assuming that was a mis type

I would agree Tenessee would be EASY, yes, an easy game for USC.

I think we would beat Auburn. not sure if it would be "easy" but more then do-able.

Georgia might be much more of a game, IMHO.

Florida and LSU would be damn fun games to watch against USC, but I do think USC would come out on top.

Finally, nothin wrong with fine cheeba

ok, im moving up to the "new" thread
