Runs with scissors if it's a boy, squats while peeing if it's a girl.

See what cha got there was two jokes in one son, I say two jokes in one. There's your ordinary twist the original thread title joke and the underlying engine/injun joke. Laugh boy laugh!

Absolutely a Kawasaki.

Photos of the rear suspension, bodywork and wheels would help pin down the year.

You can run the VIN at http://www.kawasaki.com/DefaultFrame...OSEVEHICLE.ASP

FWIW, Kawasaki did sell an OEM turbo.

Google the 1978 Z1-R turbo, aka Z1-R TC.

Several companies made aftermarket turbo kits for the Z1 Kawasakis (the early ones were 903cc, later up to 1,000cc+), and big bore pistons and cylinders were also available. I see the Wiseco on the cylinder. That's not stock, and probably has a substantial overbore.

Below is a link to a '78 turbo Z1-R, which is a collectable bike.

What about GPZ 750 Turbo? I think it was 1883-84 era?

Edit: Looks like a1983-1985 GPZ750 Turbo. Check out www.750turbo.com. Check out the pictures they carry the same frame lines as yours. After looking at the picture earlier I remembered that bike and googled it.

I also first thought gpz but the engine looked bigger than the GPZ750 was. Plus back in the day the GPZ750 was a dog compared to a kz 900 or 1000.. I have a pix of a KZ 1000 Z1R

I still remember the first time I rode a 750 triple. That was an experience.

Yea, the Kawi 500cc and 750cc 2 stroke triples from the early 70's were fierce. Too bad the frames did not match the peak hp of the motors.

The GPz750 was a four cylinder four stroke.
