the black view on Clarence Thomas?"
Seriously, I only took note of Clarence Thomas during the Anita Hill scandal. Before then, politics weren't a hobby of mine. I was trying to get laid. - Og
As far as racist in this discussion...I never used the word in this post...you did.
I go by the dictionary definition and I have not heard the rev say she is inferior or superior because of her race. He did basically say she was inferior because she "took up" with a black man.
His statement did have racial overtones but I don't know if his is a racist or not.
"Any person who does not agree" with me disagrees and it's ok. It's called debate and discussion.
If you say or imply another race is inferior or superior...I will call you a racist.
Old Doggy throws out the race bait... and Shines refuses to bite, mainly because Old Doggy trying to put words in my mouth... and Old Doggy's sensitivity that is based on his darkened epidermis pigmentation. My conclusion is not based on emotion. They are based on what the reverend said. Old Doggy, your problem is that you are unable to comprehend my original statement:
You agree with rev...ok
I think his words were ignorant because he spoke about someone he didn't know. He misquoted facts at a minimum in his character attack. Then he justifies his ignorance by qualifying it with his mother and grandmother whom you also don't know but hide behind and conclude from.
If you generalize about people you don't know...there is a word for it and it's called prejudice.
I do agree that welfare as it was implemented has hurt more people than it helped and is one of the worst things to happen to Black people as a race since slavery.
Were we differ is that I try to understand and look for solutions....you just hate and criticize.
What is the white view of a person who embraced the far left?
All white far right conservatives think as far right black conservatives do, all far left white liberals think as all far left black liberals.
Most people are moderate black or white thus mostly close elections.
