That must be the intent of the system, in one way or another.

You guys should be ashamed for making fun of Chevy. It's not their fault that their styling department is composed of monkeys

Ya it uses a ***** load of washer fluid though. You get 3 burst of spray before it needs to refill the heater container. I think its a great idea.

Now they need to make heated wiper blades. I hate it when ice builds up on my wipers when Im driving.

How timely that last Thursday, I was on the highway next to a car hauler with an Avalanche on it that was burned to a crisp with the exception of the front 2 feet or so. It doesn't mean that it suffered the problem associated with this recall, but it would explain the guy's direction of travel (I-76 Eastbound) and why it wasn't just taken to some local junkyard.

I'll bet Chebby was wanting it back.

Us pilots deal with the same problem on our wings and props. High-end planes (King Airs, Bonanzas, Citations) have 1 of 3 ice removal techniques.

1.) Alcohol Despense
2.) Heated contacts
3.) Inflatable boots

All three are great, however, i think #3 is the most popular, with 2 close behind. i dont think anyone uses alcohol to melt anymore...
