According to Ron Paul, there has already been discussions about going to war with Iran. He thinks the green light has already been given. The Democrats are apparently backing this plan. If we do go to war with Iran, it brings a lot of quirks to the table. As was discussed last year, Geo. Bush has in place all of the necessary things to declare himself a war time President and the elections will be meaningless. This is disturbing to me and it should be to you. I find that very far fetched, the congress cannot keep secrets and I dont think the demoncrats would give bush overwhelming support if bush said its a lovely day today and no way in heck they are going to let him do something that keeps him in office 1 day longer than his end of term

the speculators in the media are thinking that isreal might attack iran shortly after our election in november. i hope we have the right guy in office when/if that happens....

It would be pretty stupid on our part to go to war with ANOTHER Mid-East country.

 

I think it would be a good idea personally for us to rap up the other two situations first. But if this does kick off I hope its for better reasons then just the damn oil.

 

Are you implying that we are in Iraq for the oil? If so just look up how much oil we have taken from there.

 

No I am not implying anything about Iraq, don't put words in my mouth. I am a soldier with two tours in Iraq and I know we are not there for oil. What I was saying was in reference to what it seems everyone else is say about the possible upcoming war with Iran. go to yahoo and search for (future war with Iran and you will see what I am talking about.

I wasn't trying to put words in your mouth, I guess I just misinterpreted what you were saying. I think there are plenty of reasons to fight Iran other than oil, I hope that it doesn't happen until we are through the hard stuff in Afghanistan and Iraq but it may not wait that long.
