dyno app for iphone/touch

ok so i just downloaded the dynolicious app from the itunes apps store and its pretty cool. it is $13 but worth it so that i can easily test gains after mods

from what i understand, it estimates horsepower from the accelerometer built into the unit? so if you get in a head-on collision, will it display -600 hp?
