i think it should be. its infringing upon separation of church and state and face it, this country was not founded for christianity, it was founded for religious freedom.

im not against it and it doesnt bother me but people want to talk about double standards and thats pretty much what that is.

This is ****ing ridiculous. Our country is so damn PC now that sooner or later we will be fined for saying "god bless" when someone sneezes. We are so worried about offending people that we go to great lengths to change parts of our history. What ever happened to water off a ducks back? Can't people just let **** go? Our founding fathers are rolling over in their graves as they watch the bleaching of this countries history. What if i said i was offended when a muslim women cover their faces? I would be called a racist. But if they say their offended by a simple phrase on a dollar bill everyone jumps to action. As for separation of church and state? It was meant so the pope didn't run the damn country. If you don't like "in god we trust" use a ****in debit card.

I never understood the whole 'god bless you' when sneezing. . . Is the devil trying run off with your soul out of your nose and by saying "god bless you" just crams him back in there???

and I'd vote yes also. When I had gotten my new plate for my truck, it was one of two designs, one of which said 'In God We Trust'. If I would have gotten that one, I would've sent it back cause I dont want that crap on my truck. . .

Way back when it was believed when you sneezed you opened up your soul for the devil. People said "God bless you" to keep the devil out. This concludes your history lesson for today

No I'm pretty sure that it started around the time of the Black Plague or one of the Plagues. People would start sneezing...then be dead a few weeks later. Basically it just meant "oh crap, chances are you will be dead soon, God bless your soul"

No. America was raised with that motto. No matter what you believe, or in who, "In God We Trust" should always remain on U.S. currency.

If it wasn't for GOD, this country wouldn't be what it is today!!! I vote to keep it on there. Why take it off to please a few.........when the majority of us believe in God, weither they are Baptist, Catholic, Jewish, Methodist, etc.....

I am sick and tired of being Politically Correct, If you don't like it.........too freaking bad!!!
