So...whats so great about McCain?

Ok guys....I see several new threads on here daily bashing Obama into the ground. However, I have yet to see anyone who says anything stating why everyone should vote for McCain. I myself have not made a decision for sure yet and probably wont until they select their running mates. I see strong points in both of them that would affect my personal well-being as well as weaknesses in both. I am neither a true conservative or liberal. I like a little of both. I AM NOT looking for a personal attack here I would just like to hear why people should vote for McCain. And please, lets leave the Obama bashing out of this one. There are plenty of other threads for that.

I welcome your input here and lets try to keep this thread civil and informational. Thanks!

Vote for McCain because the other candidate is Obama. Sorry if you consider that bashing.

To be honest McCain is not my ideal Republican candidate. Obama scares me, I feel this country will quickly go downhill under his guidance. To me McCain is the better man for the job, not necessarily the best.

Well, he's not Obama. And nobody named Hussein attacked us, someone named bin Laden did. Better brush up on your history. We went to "war" in Iraq because Hussein (Saddam) was supposedly harboring the terrorists and posessed WMD's.

You make a very valid point...Obamas liberal policies have nothing to do with it.

I have asked you before. Do you actually think before regurgitating this crap?

Truth is there is nothing great about either canidate! McCain is just the lesser of the two evils!...............If McCain picks Mitt Romney as his Vice Pres, he has my guaranteed vote cause either one is gonna be a 1 term president! Heck McCain will be lucky to get through one term, then my real pick Romney will be a Ringer!...........

You sir are an embarrassment to this Nation and your parents.

History bores you? Wow, you are really cool saying things like that.

Your comments are ignorant and disrespectful to any American especially those that have and are serving in the military.

Although I am a Republican I am carefully watching this election campaign closely, keeping my options open. If you think somebody won't win an election because of their name, you really need to look at some poll numbers.

I imagine you are some 18 y/o kid running around Texas without a care in the world. I weep for the future.

You know what scares me most? Somebody that would use that as a basis for their vote. I'm not saying Obama is the guy to vote for, I'm not even sure if I'm going to vote for him, but voting based on a name is the wrong way to go about it.

I am in the Military, I have strong morals and that leads me to McCain. Experience and Stance on issues (moral guidance) are important to me. Not my favorite but stands close to my beliefs.
