OK folks, I need to ask people some of their single sentence ethical beliefs.
I don't know a lot of people, and since I don't I thought I'd ask you guys & gals what ethical values you hold.

It doesn't have to be anything mushy, or political. Just common everyday
ethical values that you hold.

In the study of ethics, what are some one line ethical things you believe.

Example:

I believe one should do the right thing, even when no one is watching.

I need 200 of these.

 

"Give more than you get."


I live by this motto during rugby season, but try to apply it to everyday life as far as helping others.

 

I believe to be successful, one must work really hard.


Something like that?

 

Every job you do is a self portrait.

 

The ten commandments are a good start. There is an easy ten for you.

 

"f the haters"

seriously though i try to go by this one. i wish everybody followed this rule:

"treat people how you want to be treated"

 

If you can't dazzle them with your brilliance, dazzle them with your bull****.

If one is easily offended, one deserves to be offended.

 

Treat others as you wish to be treated yourself.

The Golden Rule.

 

Don't dip your pen in the company ink.

Lead, follow, or get the f**k out of the way!

Of course, I can't use the pen in the company ink one on my paper, but- that's a good one under any other circumstance! LOL

 

If you borrow something bring it back in as good or better shape than when you borrowed it.
Stand up for what is right even if it is not the popular belief.
Treat others as you would want to be treated.
Don't do anything you cant be proud of.
Don't let your mouth right a check that your *** cant cash.
Show respect to all people until they loose it.
Never say " I can't" just keep trying till you get it right.
