Well my ipod still works but what I was almost thinking of doing is getting an ipod chord installed in my truck and use my old one as my truck ipod and permanently leave it in there while I use the potential ipod touch as my actual portable media device. I just love all the features it has. That is also a very interesting article. I think I may just wait until september and see.

That's exactly what I ended up doing. My video iPod is an 80 gig, and has around 60 gigs of music in it. Leaving it in truck means I'll always have all my music with me. The iTouch I have is one I received as a gift last Christmas. I wasn't too thrilled at first because I was perfectly content with my video iPod. Then I started playing with it, and have been hooked ever since. It's just fun, plain and simple. I love it, and often have it on me when I go places.

o and getting the 2.0 even if yours came with the apps is worth it, it adds a apps store that you can get the real aim app, also allows vids to be played in the music section which is very very important to me im as happy as a clam

ok ok so i must admit im on a ipod touch forum(i swear just for help with my problems) and its pretty damn funny listening to these kids talk about these things, one of the admins was talking about how he got rid of the fm transmitter and got a wired setup for his moms car, and no not because he drives his moms car, because he isnt old enough to drive yet

You want some good humor? Find a zune forum and make a thread asking why the zune is better than the ipod touch .

It's so funny to see the microsoft fanboys trying to come up wuith something. Before the itouch came out it was always "we have wifi". Yeah? What can you use it for? Transferring songs that only last 3 days ROFL.

Since the Touch doesn't have the permanent internet connection like the iPhone, how often are you guys that have the touch able to utilize the wifi when you are away from your home.

I'd love to get a Touch, but if I can only use it the wifi at my house it wouldn't be that great for me.

$80?

I have the new iPhone 3G, and I pay less than 60, and that's taxes in up here in Canuckistan where we pay more for everything, including more for taxes.

I think the iPhone is the cats ***. Talk about handy for any occasion.

BTW, there's a new version 2.1 out now. The iPhone battery life is much better and the 3G signal is much better as well.
