What a waste. Whatever team gets him must be attention deprived. That guy needs to bow out gracefully. If he doesn't retire on his own, right before the season breaks, he'll do it right after the first couple of games they lose. Hey Brett, the kitchen needs tiling. Go home. - Og

The Packers are doing this to themselves. What team in their right mins would let Brett Favre go? One that deserves to lose.

How is this the Packers fault? Favre has done his retirement act for 4 years now. He's left the Packers no choice but to line up their other options and redesign their offense in preparation for Rodgers. When someone says they are going to retire year after year, and finally make their "OFFICIAL" retirement, most teams would think it's time to start rebuilding.

Green Bay's new offense is not suited for Favre. Take the Packers/ Cowboys game last year (Shines knows what I'm talking about). Favre couldn't do anything, got hurt (faking it in my book, because they were losing so badly) and Rodgers came in and whatta ya know? Green Bay moved the ball and scored points.

Favre's day is over, he was good once because he was suited for that particular offense; any team that thinks he will be able to do anything except find an open reciever with a 5 step drop and 5 seconds to throw it will be wasting their time and money.

My point is you simply can't blame the Pack for the situation. Favre left them dangling by a wire and if they had just expected him to come back and he didn't, they would be completely screwed. They were damned if they did, and damned if they didn't.

This one is Favre's problem... He's an attention *****.

Well your lucky I read your post and made it come true.
It looks like favre gets a pass on playing the Cowboys this year, lucky him. I guess he is a big improvement over pennington.

I have baned ESPN Sport Center from my TV until there is no longer a story about Brett Farve... (My sons are not happy with me right now)... You can see from my posts from last year, I am a big Farve Fan... BUT Sport Center has turned into the Farve channel for over three weeks now. ESPN, GIVE US A BREAK!!!!!!!! A 30 second update is all the coverage that this story has required since day one. They have had two or three stories an hour about Farve. Even interviewed Tiger Woods yesterday about Farve!!! GIVE US A *&(*&^*&^ BREAK!!!!!!!!

I hope the Packers fail miserably every year......

It's going to be fun watching "Packer Fan" this year sitting there with that stupid look on his/her face as they watch Aaron Rodgers flail out there ala Lynn ****ey, Don Majkowski and all the other miserable quarterbacks they had in Cheeseville between Bart Starr and Brett Favre!
