Well
#1 I spend my own money on booze.
#2 Most bums also spend my money and yours on food and housing.
#3 They ask for money trying to get me to feel sorry for them because they can't get a job.
Like another guy said....I would be more likely to give money to a bum if they are asking for money for drugs/booze.
At least they are being honest.

Here in S.F. there are tons of bums with signs asking "$20 for weed" and what not. Yes, they usually have the most money !

Acouple of pages back Memphis and the chili place on Beale street was mentioned.
I had been partying pretty hard one night and had a hang over the next day. My Misses and I stopped at that place, I ordered Chili. I saw crude oil floating on that shtuff. Ralph came to see me when I tryed to eat it. I haven't eaten chili very much since then. I wonder if it would have tasted good if I could of eaten it.
