Looks like on a Month of July basis only that the Frontier wins hands down! It is a nice truck and so far there have been few issues with them. Ranger is still hanging tough and is suppose to be in production thru 2012. I have a feeling that Ford will bring the global Ranger in then or before that or they'll rename it the F-100. Looks like the issue plagued Tundra took the biggest hit. I guess some folks aren't completely fooled by the Toyota emblem. This will get even more interesting as gas prices are going to be coming down. Will our pickups survive? We'll see.
Considering that Ford outsold all of the Toyota line up, Taco and Tundy, I wonder if the Toyota folks are maybe giving the truck market another look. There is a conversion suppose to take place at the San Antonio plant where they will be the sole maker of the Tundra BUT, they're also adding a Camry line there. Maybe, just maybe, Toyota trucks won't be around anymore.

The ranger through 2012 huh? GOOD LUCK Ford. Not to sound like a troll but if they put it up against the competition, theyd realize they need a redo before 2012. I think ford will change their mind before 2012. Last month toyota was down 60% compared to a year before based on June only month sales.

The ranger is hangin in, but so is the frontier, especially with a month based increase. Nissan is refreshing the frontier for 09, just a slight face lift, a new package, new lamp design, and a couple new colors. At least they are doin somethin, and the current is only 3 years old.

I used to like tacomas but these 09s with the clear eurolights are stupid. They took fords idea of the backup camera in the rearview mirror stock on all models ( not sure ).

I think if nissan actually spent money advertising their frontier they could catch up to toyota, doubt itll happen though.

When my lease is up in 2011, i'll prob look at the f100 if it's out, but i hope im in the position to aim for a 2 door f150 with the 6.2 .
